Where we are
1800 Sheppard Ave E, North York, ON M2J 5A7 — beside Fairview Mall at Sheppard Avenue East and Don Mills Road. From the 404, exit at Sheppard. From the 401, take the 404 north one exit. From downtown, the DVP becomes the 404 and Sheppard is the second exit past the 401. Don Mills subway station is across the street.
Hours
Mon–Fri · 7:30 AM–6 PM. Sat · 9 AM–1 PM. If those hours do not work, say so when you send the photos and we will find a time.
What to have ready
- Three photos of the damage — wide, medium, close.
- Year, make and model. The paint code from the door-jamb sticker helps but is not required.
- Your insurance claim number if the claim is already open. If it is not, we can talk through whether to open one before you do.
- Whether the car is drivable. If not, tell us where it is and we help arrange the tow.
What happens after you send the photos
Our estimator looks at them the same business day and replies with a written number and a note on what the photos cannot show — a bumper cover hides the absorber and brackets behind it, so some estimates carry a line that says the number is final after teardown. If the repair is going through insurance, the reply also says whether to open the claim now or wait until we have looked at the car, because a claim opened for a repair that turns out to be cosmetic is hard to close again.
Booking works around you. Drop the car on the way to the subway, hand the keys over at the counter, and if a rental is part of the claim it is timed to that drop-off rather than the insurance company’s queue. When the car is in the booth you get a date, and if the date moves you get the reason.
If the car is not drivable
Tell us where it is sitting and we help arrange the tow from our end. Two things are worth knowing before you call anyone: in Ontario you decide where your vehicle goes, not the operator who arrives at the scene, and the invoice has to be itemized. If the car has already been taken to a compound, storage fees usually run daily, so the sooner it moves the less it costs. Say the words "Sheppard and Don Mills, beside Fairview Mall" and the driver will know exactly where to bring it.
What we do not do
We are a body shop, not a mechanical garage or a dealership. Engine work, transmissions, brakes and routine servicing are somebody else's trade, and we will point you to one rather than pretend otherwise. We are also not a tow company — we coordinate the tow, we do not operate the truck. And we are an independent shop: not a preferred vendor for any insurance company, and not a manufacturer-certified facility for any brand, though we repair every make and model that comes through the door.
