Why a small shop beside a big mall
The location is practical. Sheppard and Don Mills sits where the 404, the 401 and the DVP meet, which means a driver from Markham, downtown, Scarborough or Mississauga is one highway away, and the Sheppard subway stops across the road for anyone dropping a car and heading to work. Fairview Mall next door means a drop-off can fold into an errand instead of costing a morning.
What we are, and what we are not
We are an independent collision and refinish shop. We work with every insurance company in Ontario and are preferred by, affiliated with, or endorsed by none of them. We repair every make and model and are not a manufacturer-certified facility. We do not publish a star rating on this site, because a rating you cannot verify is not information. Ask us for the names of recent customers in your area and we will ask them if they mind a call.
What you can hold us to
- Insurance-direct. We open the claim, meet the adjuster here, and file supplements ourselves. You choose the shop — Ontario leaves that decision with you.
- Written estimate from photos. Text three photos and a written number comes back the same business day. No obligation.
- Lifetime warranty on paint. Every refinish is warranted for as long as you own the vehicle, in writing.
- Mandarin and English. 我们说普通话 — the estimate, the claim and the updates in the language you prefer.
How a repair actually runs here
Nothing about the process is unusual, but the order matters. Photos come first because they answer the cheap questions — which panels, how deep, whether the car is drivable — without anyone taking a morning off work. The written number that comes back is a starting point, not a final bill, and we say so plainly, because on a collision the honest number lives underneath the bumper cover rather than on the surface of it.
Once the car is here, the covers and liners come off before the estimate is finalized. That teardown is where the crushed absorber, the cracked mounting tab or the rail that has moved a few millimetres shows up. Finding those on day one is the difference between one accurate estimate and a repair that keeps growing after you have already committed to it. Anything structural gets measured against factory data before and after the pull, and the measurements go into your file.
Paint is the part people judge, so it gets the most patience. Colour starts at the code on the door-jamb sticker, moves to variant chips, and is checked on a sprayed test card under corrected light against your actual panel — a car that has spent six winters outside is not the colour it left the factory. The new panel is then blended into the ones beside it so there is no edge for the eye to catch. Clear coat needs to bake and then harden, which is why we would rather hand the keys back a day late than a day early.
What we will tell you that you might not want to hear
A dent with intact paint usually does not need a respray, and we will say so even though the smaller job bills less. A ten-year-old car with rust through the rocker may not be worth the structural repair it truly needs, and we would rather show you the hole than quote around it. Some jobs are better done closer to home, and if you are calling from the far edge of our map for a single door ding, we will tell you that the drive is probably not worth it.
English and Mandarin
我们说普通话. A claim is confusing enough in your first language. The estimate, the calls with the adjuster and the progress updates can all happen in Mandarin, and the Chinese site covers the same services and areas as this one.
